By now you have probably discovered your baby's favorite toy. You. He's fascinated by your face and the sound of your voice. Take every opportunity to cuddle your baby, sing to him and gaze into his eyes.
Your newborn's brain has advanced to the point where he is more alert and attentive than he was at birth. He's quickly gaining the ability to focus his eyes on highcontrast objects such as faces, mobiles and toys. He's also gaining better head and neck control, and may lift his head for a few seconds during "tummy time."
By one month, some infants are already efficient eaters. Your baby might be drinking slightly more breast milk or formula at each feeding and need to be fed less frequently. Is your baby developing his own feeding and sleeping routine? Even at this young age, your child is unique. His budding personality will grow stronger each day.
